What do you think of the harder steel vs the soft so far?

Even their knives with the softer steel holds a edge way better then my Gerber knives so with this hard steel it'll stay sharper for much longer. So far it's still razor sharp. Lots of guys stay away from Buck because they can't sharpen the knives after they have dulled them, and that's just the typical production knives. I'm slowly converting everything over to Buck knives.

It's been working great. It's an incredible skinning knife. It's from the custom shop so I don't carry it everyday but when I'm in bear camp for three weeks It's put to use a lot.
