I have one from that same dud batch that I just CANNOT sharpen. Totally agree there is such a thing. Spyderco and Leathermans sharpen right up but that buck wants to be a fork

The reason I searched up this video is cuz I have the same exact orange knife and it came apart the part that you push on the back of it to put the blade back in it kind of came and now my blade is going backwards and forwards and won't push in and the part that doesn't is sticking out and I don't think it's supposed to be like that

I don’t know I’ve got the same knife and I went through all your talking points along side you with mine and the one bad thing was the blade centring. Everything else was reasonable. No blade play, good strong lock up, scales are nice and tight very pointy tip. 🤷♂️ needs a good sharpen cause I beat it up but other than that it’s not bad

You must of talked to someone new at Buck or something because Will Buck pay to have my product sent to their facility?Buck will not pay for the freight costs to their facility. However, Buck will pay for all return expenses to your residence or business for warranty services. As per their Warranty Repair linked here www.buckknives.com/pdf/WarrantyLongForm2019.pdf

Your video should’ve been titled “WHAT THE BUCK?”, lol. I’ve never actually owned a Buck knife based on your/other Buck knife reviews on KZbin. Weird little fact, but, if you ever come across a knife, or any product for that matter stamped “Made in America”, by law that encompasses manufacturing anywhere in North, Central, or South America. I know that one claims “USA”, but still. Good to know for further purchases. Thanks for the review, as always.✌🏼

What a bizarre review. If Buck knives are not made in USA then you should provide evidence to support that claim and not just speculate. Also 420HC steel is easy to work with and those knife tips can be easily adjusted with a file or stone to make them sharper. This video does not give much useful information.

My Bantam doesn´t say USA on the blade, it says China instead.
@SuperMurrayb3 жыл бұрын
@@jirkav There are Bucks that are made in China and I own one myself. The ones in the video are marked as made in USA and I expect they are. The poster of video should provide evidence that his knives are mislabelled as to country of origin. What is more baffling is why he bought at least three Bantams when he did not like the first one. There are many knives available from other manufacturers in that price range. It makes no sense to buy Bantam after Bantam and then repeatedly complain about the poor quality. My Bantam works fine and is cheap enough that I won't cry too much when I lose it. [Which is certain to happen, sooner or later.].

@@SuperMurrayb aah, gotcha, sorry, I think I misunderstand your original comment. I also do like my Buck, its been perfect for camping and such as sort of a beater knife. I totally agree that its weird to buy one, complain about it and then buy another 2 :)
@SuperMurrayb3 жыл бұрын
@@jirkav No need to apologise since I was not offended by your comment. I used to buy Opinel for outdoor tasks but their price went up. When I went to buy another Opinel #7 the Bantam was on sale for less so I bought the Buck. My Bantam works well for what I need it for. It does not seem to be "sub-par" for the price.

I´ve got one of these. The knife is crap. Buck is killing their own business by putting out this kind of knife. I will NEVER buy another Buck.
