At 2:25 Eddie was totally thinking about how good of a father Buck will be to the kids they'll raise someday. Remember, he's a parent so he'll be assessing certain qualities in a potential romantic partner if he marries them and at this point in time, it's only Buck who's been shown to be amazing with Christopher. Buck also already has an intense and intrinsic connection with Eddie so their relationship growing into a romantic one in future seasons would be the most natural conclusion to their story.

The British actor who plays Buck- Oliver Stark - stated that the show is aware of the fans and how they want to see these two characters together. Oliver is opened to the idea, but he doesn't know when or if they (the show) will explore their relationship deeper than just friends/co-workers. According to him (Oliver) they finished filming 12 episodes. He stated that he didn't know how the rest of this season will play out. So, fans of the show will have to stay tuned. 😎

I’ve never watched this show. I only know of it because these Buddie videos keep coming up and I must’ve watched every single one of them tothe point where I think I know their whole background. Now I’m totally invested and need to watch the real thing. I hope Buddie becomes a reality. I don’t care if Eddie pulls away (literally and emotionally) when Buck reveals his true feelings...even if they have to build the insane tension for half the season. Make Eddie come to the realization after talking to the therapist that Buck is the one person he can always count on, forgive, and trust with his life and Christopher’s. When they get together, have it cause issues between them with a big reveal like Buck really never has been with a man OR he finally openly admits he has been with a man...and either way Eddie is the one who has a hard dime coming around and telling his family, his kid, and the team. Have someone at work catch them and be the only one in on it until towards the end of the season they make the big announcement.
