That's some pretty awesome video footage really cool we can get that real natural behavior catching what they do in the wild not every day you get video of a buck grunting and chasing does, that's what's so nice about trail cameras you can see things that you may never see yourself in the woods

Same here. It’s so hot and humid currently, it’s hard to get out there and do anything. Just check my cameras last weekend and hadn’t been to much action this summer. Usually picks up about September. Good luck this year.

My dad told me a story once. He got sat down in the woods and settled in. He cut this great big fart and didn't think anything of it. About 10 minutes later, said a huge buck came wandering in on him. But yeah, they sound a lot different to me personally than the calls you get in the stores.

Ive heard and witnessed different bucks grunting and chasing does around 2 different times that i remember, that's two different times chasing dough while the buck is grunting but I've seen numerous occasions where bucks were chasing does never caught video on my trail camera of a buck grunting tho! I did have a young bull moose walk literally right in front of my camera couple weeks ago after dark

I hadn’t been getting a ton of activity the past few times I pulled my cards, but it seems like I’ve been seeing more deer lately. Hope the camera activity picks up. It’s always hit and miss.

I got video of a buck and doe with the same thing in the same exact place. When I saw this I was like wtf is going on.

Deer hair will stand up like that sometimes when pushed against the grain. Or possible got poked with a tine.

I think it’s where his hair got burred from brush or the horn from another buck.

Boys looking for love but in typical fashion she’s playing hard to get. Looks like the doe is working a scrap (a spot where a buck scraps the ground covering up then deer pee in it to communicate). The buck then heads straight towards the scrap. He will smell it and be able to tell if the doe is in estrous and then the chase is on.
