There's no way he found that buck during the time they were hunting there. Those antlers are weathered, the skull had been eaten by scavengers and bugs. There was still hair around the bases too. It was the buck he shot, but but it wasn't recovered during the time they were hunting there. No chance.

Y'all need to learn to not alert a deer when it is already totally calm and nice perfect broadside shot as soon as you make a noise when they're calm like that and then take your shot afterwards you will almost always make a bad shot if you have the shot take the shot don't alert them

I get why they Whistle at the deer. There’s no point doing that when the deer is already stopped and not alarmed. When the deer stopped and perfectly broad side or just stopped and u can get a shot don’t whistle or get it’s attention. The deer is calm and relaxed and when you whistle at it while the deer is already stopped the deer is alarmed, that’s just my opinion. If u need to stop the deer yes whistle or stop it someway

watching this series i feel like every episode i get to see mechanical broadheads fail or just get no penetration. 1 out of 10 shots will be a complete pass through. Then other nine times we get the whole well we didn't get good penetration.

If you make a good shot it doesn’t matter what you shoot. Fixed blade might well have not done any better. Plus it’s easier to make a good shot with mechanicals

@@rustysidahooutdooradventur7063 That's not true, I have never had a fixed blade broad head not do the job when placed in the kill zone, I have had mechanical not do the job when placed in kill zone or at least not recover the deer in a reasonable mount of time. I have had fix blades do the job when placed poorly but I have never had a mechanical do the job when placed poorly. If you tune your arrows and your bow good fix blade broadleaf will fly just as good as any mechanical and always do the job when placed correctly even threw bone. Poor penatration is due to poor broad heads. And I have been killing deer with a bow since the early 90,s

aacshooter only exception is if you are trying to get them to stop. In that case I personally make a grunting noise with my mouth but whistling may get it to stop moving as well. In the video he had no reason to whistle but there are times where it could be acceptable even though I personally don’t think it’s the best option.
