Anyone having trouble finding blood with HSM’s jacketed hollow points, my sister borrowed my .270 and ended up shooting a buck through the heart and lungs at like 50 yards and my pops and her couldn’t find anything, deer was retrieved but they didn’t have a blood trail.

Too cumbersome. Go prone or borrow a tree branch. Pods are for 400+ yard stands, not the stalk hunts. Sorry (I still enjoy the videos though and seeing y’all having fun)

Do I consider someone who can only take deer in a manner like this a good hunter ??? No- it's like shooting a dove off a power line. Would I go on a hunt like this if given the opportunity ? Absolutely. It would be fun nonetheless.
