Goodfolk and O'Tymes has been talking about taking a journey across the country in an old antique biplane, so we could meet the world. This vlog is kinda our first time to do this. We have been barnstorming the coolest biplane ever made and now Andrew got a job to ferry something just as cool as my Travel Air and New Standard. We flew a 1947 Bucker Jungmann over 1200 miles in the middle of January. The experience was great and the I know the opportunity will be even greater.
Check out my biplane business Goodfolk and O'Tymes Biplane Rides.. www.gobiplanerides.com

Dewey-- A special thumbs up for your music treatment here. Adding music to aircraft videos is a tricky business, mostly resulting in failure. Many vids taken from the sidelines at an airshow or some friend's 1st flight should not have music at all. And those that should often get saddled with the guy's favorite crappy car music, etc. These tunes here were all well-chosen, and I believe not off-putting to anyone. A tricky business indeed. Other aircraft vid-makers TAKE NOTE!

Couldn't knock that smile off your face with a 2x4!! Thanks for taking us along with you. Who doesn't dream about cross-country in a open cockpit bi-plane?

Hi Dewey This video brought me good memories of Falcon Field. Had the opportunity to live in Peachtree City for 6 years and had my Light Sport based on that field. You had your plane parked in front of that little park which is where I first parked my new airplane when I landed there for the first time. Thanks for sharing this video and safe flying Arturo

GLAD it wasn't too cold - that plane is PERFECT. Great article on Bunker Jungmann home built - February 2018 EAA Sport Aviation magazine! I had frost on my Skylane in Reno, and the sun got it melted off with a little help from my nightshirt over top of the wings.

@@DeweyDavenport Are they there for fun or do they serve a purpose? Such as to stop wires from vibrating?

@@capnpete1154 they serve the purpose of a javelin strut. The javelin keeps the wires from bouncing around.

Dewey this is such a great video, you have taken us lesser mortals on a wonderful delivery flight landing at some lovely friendly aerodromes along the way, love the dead reckoning old style old skills navigation, the Jungman ( meaning ' Young Man in German ' ) is a beauty in those Czech markings, the new owner is a lucky person to own such a lovely historic machine, you did right to highlight the bad manners of the Cessna 140 pilot with no regard for other peoples aeroplanes, you never prop wash like that and it was not needed, looking forward to Part 2 of your adventure, thank you for all the work that you put in ou behalf to see such lovely aircraft and scenery.
