The thing about Bucket, as in most of his live performances, he realizes when he makes an error, and goes with the flow, adjusts to it, and hell, i tends to end up sounding better than the studio version, its that versatility that makes him so epic. Bucket plays better by accident than most people can play on purpose

I noticed that he makes LOTS of errors but its kinda completely unimportant. He improvise a lot so i guess that's why. Plus his errors are not catastrophical. A.note here or there. Never messes with a flow.

Improvising on a piece on the go with a mask on the face on a fretless guitar is impossible. How he does not manage to screw up more notes is still a mistery to me.

+LimitIsIllusion I agree... a big part of that has to be that his backing tracks in shows like this are all pre-recorded and mixed to perfection and then he just pays over top of it. much harder to get this quality with 3 live musicians.

With how many songs he has, he’s bound to forget notes at some point in a live show, but the way he can go with the flow and improvise and make it still fit in with the rest of the song is amazing. He’s extremely fast in his shreds despite age, which adds even more to his level of skill.

OK, he made some seemingly irredeemable mistakes throughout most of the song, I admit... But. The improvised outro solo CLEARLY salvages the quality of this song. To be honest, the fact that he made a couple mistakes makes me respect him even more. Even though he made mistakes, he just kept going. They didn't ruin the song either so its no big deal. I can't, and for that matter no guitarist that I know (and I know a couple pretty good ones) can come even CLOSE to matching the INSANE speed he hit on that solo, let a alone do it with a couple of mistakes. Binge and Grab has to be one of my favorite songs...ever.
