I've seen him 22 times - solo and with other acts, such as Primus. His hands fascinate me. He's 6 ft 8, moonwalks, robot dances, does nunchucks, and gives out toys to people in the front row. He's recorded over 400 albums, 79 of them collaborations. He's probably the most prolific and talented guitar player alive. He also did the soundtrack of the game Mortal Kombat and has had two songs that were the bonus tracks on the Guitar Player cds. He's awesome. Thanks for doing this reaction.

Check out his song Jordan too. Or anything he did with Les Claypool, the bassist from Primus. Or Praxis, his band with Bernie Worrell, the keyboardist from Parliament Funkadelic. Buckethead shows are crazy. It's just him and a guitar. And he dips into weird stuff like songs from Star Wars or random movies in the middle of songs.

Buckethead is a great guitar player. Some of the greats are gone - SRV, Eddie Van Halen, Jeff Beck, Randy Rhoads, Jimi Hendrix, B.B. King, Dimebag Darrell, Terry Kath, Gary Moore to name a few. Some of the guitar greats still alive - Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Tony, McAlpine, Eric Johnson, Frank Marino, Alex Skolnick, John Petrucci, Eric Clapton, Billy Gibbons. @joshm6854 Жыл бұрын
Buckethead will take you down a rabbit hole if you choose to let him. He has over 300 albums of originally written and composed music. Hes a modern day Mozart with a catalog that rivals composers of old. His music will trigger any emotion you want to feel. None of it has words. Its a brilliant way to not muddy the art with words that are personal to him and it allows you to make the journey of the song personal to you and your feelings/experiences. A few fun facts about Buckethead. He is 6' 6" and has to have his guitar custom made to be about 20% bigger to be the right proportion to his size. He wears a bucket and mask as a way to combat his stage fright. His name is believed to be Brian Patrick Carroll but no one knows for sure. He is a huge NBA fan with songs like "Jordan", "Redeem Team", and "Lebron" as a few of his tributes.
