I listened to this piece hundreds of times when it was first released. I hadn't heard it in a year or so and upon listening, it was like the first time I'd ever heard it. Buckethead is not only the finest guitar player of our generation, but also perhaps the finest music composer of our generation.

My future tasks are to complete an undergrad degree in mathematics and to follow that up with Theoretical physics. At perhaps CalTech, which was my original intention. But Philosophy helped me to answer many questions I had. Now, the math and physics are next...

Anyone else play along to his pikes? My improvisation went up like 1000%. He does a lot of quick changes in his songs because they are typically 30 min solos with multiple sections. That man can write a catchy hook, though. Can you believe the Chili Peppers said he didn't know how to kick a groove?

Ric Castro Thanks guys but I have all pikes on my phone so i know them very well. My opinion will be still the same. I think he should work beside the pike series on a few albums that take more time. Pike Doors was one of the breath taking pikes for me but after all, not near as good as electric tears, a diamond in the rough, the elephant mans alarm clock and so on...
