Incredible idea! Take a 500 year old masterpiece, animate it and bring it to life, add a song that seems written for it and insert the musician into the artwork. Bosch & Buckethead make a very eerie combination here. I wonder if Bosch could have ever imagined this! =Dave

Thank you Buckethead for bringing us to such a singular piece of art! Last summer we had a concert in Den Bosch and very soon we found out it actually was the hometown of the great Bosch himself. Visiting his museum with 3D models of his macabre creatures was a must.
@Piten46 жыл бұрын
It is so awesome if you take into consideration the vast inspiration he has taken from the Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch. Many of the song titles are even inspired by different parts depicted in Hieronymus paintings "The Last Judgment" and "The Garden of Earthly Delights". For example the song "the treeman", is seen as the white hollow man in the painting "The Garden of Earthly Delights", he has made different pieces on the guitar that can spike the different fears, exactly the ones you feel when contemplating the scenarios by Hieronymus, well, atleast I can see how Buckethead can connect the two. Good work, Buckethead! And the music video is the best, wonder what Hieronymus would have said about your work. According to the church back then, all music except religous was a sin. That's why different parts of his paintings contain musical instruments such as the lute, hurdy-gurdy and drums, and alongside them people in agonising pain.

OMG!!! Its perfection on so many levels musically and visually its been tuned with no loss to detail... a true credit to one of the greatest epic paintings that we are so lucky to be able to this day be able to experience. I own a large print of the original, I have to drag people from my lounge room that come over and end up staring at it... thinking its from the 1960s or 70s. I find myself having to explain its 500+ yrs old and im giving people a classic art lesson. Often i feel im living in the painting being driven bonkers by the shear presence of having it on my wall at home, it shits me to tears having it and at the same time i cant see sense to deny myself the enjoyment of having my copy of it to enjoy.
