Bucket is just a weird dude. I saw him play live and his live show was a trip. About 2/3 of the way through the show he brought out a bag and started handing out items from the bag to the audience. The items included a DVD of a lit fireplace, random action figures and other items that just made no sense as a rock concert souvenir. That said, I am so happy I got to see him play live. It was definitely worth it!!
@NatterNet6 жыл бұрын
Oh cool, man! Yeah Bucket likes to hand out gifts at his shows and receive gifts too. There's a rumour that those gifts are possessions of his victims and that he's getting rid of evidence by giving them away to fans haha Awesome that you saw him live, definitely an amazing experience.

He just loves his fans. He likes to hand stuff out to his fans. I heard he's a really generous guitar player. He likes to meet his fans and receive stuff from em. I'd love to see him live sometime but he's into music for musics sake. He charges $2 for an album lol while everyone else charges out the tail. He's a nice guy. He's found his way to express himself to make himself happy and able to share it with others. All the while hiding his personal life and social life. It's literally nobody's business even though we care about him and love him. He says more without words than all the other "outspoken" artists that are the head of popular culture. Our society is constructed to distract us on a daily basis with pretentiously crafting perfectly designed forms of 'popular art'. All of which are there to create a feeling of the need for consumerism. Thanks for sharing the vid. Love from Canada :)

Yes and no, for guitar fans he is amazing, but the majority of people have absolutely no idea who he is or even heard of him, even satch and vai could walk down the street and lots would have no idea who they are, thats just how it is for many guitar instrumentalists.
@crashboredom24 жыл бұрын
@@ausman05 right, but there is very few things the internet cant get together and play detective to figure out. Buckethead remaining a mystery is crazy. Reddit can get together and solve murders and find missing persons, but we cant unmask buckethead 🤔

@@crashboredom2 Do you want to be the person that ruins his privacy? If he truely wanted fame and attention he would have twitter and do lots of interviews. Redditt is made up of tens maybe hundreds of millions of people, Buckethead doesnt have that many fans, i grew up a kiss fan so i grew up with the whole wanting to know who was under the makeup, same with who is under the bucket, i just hope he has done a bunch of interviews and 1 day will release them. I mean yes its him. I mean he has never hidden anything but his face, he has said who is in multiple interviews and people who know him have said he is Brian Carrol, the mystery was started early on when he played with GnR and people wanted to speculate that he was really some famous guitarist playing under a hidden alter-ego. I think the bucket was just some kind of weird angle he came up with early on and it had the added benefit once he became well known of allowing himself to have a normal life without having to have people coming up to him all the time asking for autographs and shit.
@Bdevonhewitt6 жыл бұрын
Ive thought about Bucket and what most people think is a gimmick, but he said in his interview that he has always been an introvert. Because he is very shy most think the mask and bucket allow the real Brian Carroll to come out. Bucket said this is not true, the mask and bucket allow Buckethead to come out on stage. Buckethead is as much a part of himself as Brian Carroll is. Not only that but if you delve even deeper the Buckethead character is a brilliant marketing angle. All rockers age some not so well. It doesnt matter to Buckethead, because he has a mask and an onstage persona that does not age. He can do this as long as he wants to present the Buckethead persona and his body holds up. Im not sure if Bucket thought this through on a conscious level but if he did it was genius on his part. In an case he is a prolific composer, brilliant musician and appears to be an even better person. Long live Bucket...cheers
