There's a radio interview of him and he talks in his normal voice and he really talks about a lot. He said he has heart problems and how he wants to open an amusement park for people to go to enjoy like they did his music and he talked about his parents and how his mothers' death afftected him a lot. I forgot who conducted it, but he's a really, really pure hearted person. Pray for that man

He's a very pure hearted person. The soul-stirring beauty in his music is a true reflection of the beautiful human being that created it. His music communicates something from one soul to another....it's true, pure, real. I felt it had to come from a pure hearted person, and the interview confirmed it 100%.

A few years later I looked him up at night while I was in my bed and clicked on this song. I must have listened to it about 20 times before I went to sleep. In my opinion, buckethead outshines every guitar player I have ever heard of.

Same bro. I mean, not the next day, but I watched the Soothsayer at the Gothic Theatre and just thought, "I want to play guitar, I want to create those beautiful, hair-raising melodies with my own hands." I'd been attracted to playing guitar after getting into King Crimson and Robert Fripp's crazy, eclectic style but it didn't make me want to learn guitar then and there, because it while it was cool, it didn't have that raw emotion.

I'm echoing many comments here....this was the very first exposure to Bucket 12 years ago. I came back from a party, was mildly buzzed. My wife went to bed, and I wasn't ready to sleep so I did what I often do, put some headphones on, and did the random music search. Found this youtube by accident. The song literally gave me chicken skin 10 seconds in, I could almost not believe it was real. I must have played it 30 times straight through. "Came to" with my wife snapping her fingers in front of my face....like WTF ;) Still not tired of it. I think it's the best version of Whitewash ever (the second being the one with the Deli Creeps) and easily one of the top 5 of all. Just so pure. Something about the grainy video and the shaky camera makes it even better.
