that is a very beautiful display. I am working on it, after a week I can almost get through phase 1 - I just barely missed getting back into sybil the second time ! some things that helped me a lot are learning the 'revolution cut' and 'sybil cut' I was stuck on your revolution cut but I'm getting it slowly thanks for this awesome display!

During the course of the video I found myself repeating the following phrases, "God Damn it I almost had it.", "Shit, I just dropped the cards all over the floor again." and finally, "fuck it, I got something else to do!" I really didnt have anything else to do but it was a good excuse. Nice tutorial and cheers to all those who have this move down cuz I sure dont!

wonderful combo. it's pretty smooth and I love the variations from the normal 'sybil' and 'tornado' cuts. love the challenge too - this is not an easy cut. and I can do J5 and Pandora. 5 stars.

awesome cut bro!! your better than i am!! but i have learned something about cardartistry.. just a helpful tip..during my flourishes; there are certain parts that i can do inhumanly fast and others not so fast.. it almost ruins the whole flourish when you do some parts faster than you can do the harder parts.. by keeping it systematic; and at a smooth pace makes any flourish look so much more skill full...just a thought! Keep it up bro!! 5 STARS!!

@Foxrider9922 you simply do the revolution cut. first you have to know how to do the revolution cut, solo. master this move until u own it. after that i will be easy to do the revolution in this cut... myself i don't do it just as in the clip, but close to it... i can tell you for sure that after hours of practicing you will have your own revolution move for this cut.. this part was a great hop for me too i hope i could make myself clear.. good luck!!!

you all are ignorant. This cut is mainly for advanced. No matter how good this tutorial is, you won't get it if you're a beginner. this is called cardsitry, it doesn't have to be a false cut.the main point of cardistry to show off your dexterity and card handling and card magicians usually do this when they're bored
@HypnoticPhantom
@HypnoticPhantom 13 жыл бұрын
I always have to wonder what the purpose of this is? If you're doing a card trick where you have to cut the cards, just cut the silly thngs or learn a false cut if needs be, but while this looks flashy and somewhat cool; to me it seems to tip off the spectator that you are up to something.
@BicycleRider09

id be surprised if this was the first time you heard this, but this, "Buckeye Cut" is really just an improv false sybil, madonna, and tornado cut. it's really just those three cuts put together, but impressive none the less.

@skatrman32 actually the dude has a point. Most magicians don't implement cardistry into their magic because it takes away the magical feel. I've been a performer for about 3 years and have came upon cardistry as something fun and time consuming. Go check out the system the trilogy genesis vol. 1-2 papercuts or any other cardistry focused DVDs out there. It's a show in and of itself. You're welcome.

Question: Is this considered a false cut? from the looks of it I can't make out any order, so I assume it is not full deck restoration. If not, then what is the point. I mean don't take me the wrong way, it's absolutely awesome, but it doesn't seem like it would help a magician at all ... except confuse him/her as much as the audience about what order the cards are in... cool tutorail

@abo2lhol09 it is a tutorial i learned it in 2 weeks and took 2 months to go at normal speed with no screw ups. It took a lot of rewinding and pausing to learn. Take extremely small steps and build up day by day it really worked for me if anyone else learned that way says so

@LS1mike1997 It's not for magic, it's "cardistry", it's the art of card manipulation. A lot of these cuts based onthe sybil are false, I mean that at least you keep the top cards in position, while the true sybil cut and some variations can restore the ful deck in order. Im a noob, but if im wrong, anyone please correct me
