You need a lot of knowledge to operate agricultural machinery, especially harvesters or balers, you need to know how they work inside to operate them, You literally need to know how to take them apart and put them back together, It's not like driving a car.

This is all controlled by GPS, even the turns are controlled by GPS from what I understand nowadays, I am told it is for seeding purposes saves money in overlap. I am an old man these things weren’t around when I was a farmer, we used to have a cedar with discs and then fertilizer and then spray. It has become more complicated to become easier. Great video Mike , my cousin works a farm in Northern Ireland but not nearly as large as Crossroads. As a teen I spent a week on my Uncle William's farm . Hours sitting on the side wall of the tractor , rowing turning hay and baling off course. But my favorite thing was bringing the cows into town along the public road and milking twice a day. Love the action..... with huge amounts of work being done with American technology. Expert operators and top class drone work, thanks!

Well, with Crossroad Farms raking in $14M in government subsidies it's not to hard to outbid the neighbor and live luxuriously....it's just that the unsolicited business venture costs the taxpayer a lot of slave labor, no return at all and former farming neighbors being forced to live in crowded cities instead of living their American dream.....all with the government blessings for Big Ag.

This is one of the best farming videos I've ever seen. It shows what a big business farming has become. $millions in equipment, countless hours of maintenance to keep it operational and ready to go. Having the people ready to go in an operation like this. I can't even imagine how much fuel was needed to operate all this equipment. All this and the planning to pull it off and the farmer is still at the mercy of the weather. Luckily he had great weather for this. How many days did this video cover?
