3:08 the 2 houses that you sse was Mister Bertrand on the left and the white one on the right was owned by Jean Hayes my childhood friend's father . I grew up in the one next to the white one that you can see at 3:12 teh brown one to be exact from age 6 to age 17 where i moved with my dad to Lac-st-jean in 1977 . So many memories of my childhood there . The boucheries Aspect The restaurant Lajoie which was later sold to Maurice Guindon .The bowling aspect where i wroked for many years pulling up pins and had to watch myself not to get a broken leg or broken arm from Yves Matte when he threw his bowling balls like a missile. So many memories of my school friends Pierre Pigeon, Micjel Hayes , Pierre Hayes , Jacques Guindon , La famille Laroques. Denis et André binette ,Richard racine ,Jacques chalifoux Richard Bourassa . just to name those few . I really misse this place and the swims we took at the pump house on the La Lievre river behind those houses . I went back for a visit about 4 years ago and the town ahs changed so much but i still remembered all the street as when i was there 43 years ago . The road to Mayo had developped su much since then .

Actually one detail was wrong, Levi Bigelow built the first sawmill in partnership with Baxter Bowman which later went in a receivership that was handles by a Davidson lawyer. Levi Bigelow had a store before Buckingham existed. And that Village was known as Bigelow. Buckingham was actually where Masson was but decided to move the city name further up North where the population was.
