I drive one, a 1.2 gt. In obsession blue. It certainly doesn't rock the world but it is a lovely daily driver, comfortable smooth and it definitely gets noticed. I think it's styling is very different and fresh. I for one am very happy with my 408.

The central armrest storage area is really deep on the petrol models - it's almost cavernous as it actually goes forward of the armrests and it's quite easy to lose stuff in there.
