Word of advice as an owner of one. Don't bother with the 25 TFSI! Just go straight for the 30. As well as that, the regular tech pack is basically a must. Ideally, I would say get the Sport trim with the 30 TFSI engine with the tech pack. If you don't spec tech pack, you will regret it! I am! Other than that, lovely, premium little motor. Absolutely brilliant.

Love this review and came across your channel looking for an A1 review. There will be no replacement after this model goes EoL, maybe next year(?), which is such a shame. I too love the ‘old fashioned’ tech and the lack of bleeping at you and this is on my shortlist to replace a Honda E as primarily a city car but for occasional long distances. Audi say their engine badging, 25, 30,35 have been adopted to allow EV's and ICE to be comparable. It does make sense.

@@BuckleUpShow Audi have said they will remove some of these numbers. But how will you compare ICE cars to EV's ? EV's have no cubic capacity. Many agree with you - I don't. I think the Audi numbers make sense. Why not change them to one tenth of max bhp ? To what would you change it ?
@BuckleUpShowАй бұрын
I don’t think they should be badged at all. Just the model name. If I had to pick, JLRs method of actual bhp is a much better system.

Why do Audi interior plastics always look cheap? There already appears to be marks on the interior & this is virtually a brand new car! I think we will stick with our BMW F40 1 Series 118i M-Sport for a little while longer, as it is a similar price to this car, similar spec, but the build quality of the BMW is on a other level.
@BuckleUpShowАй бұрын
This car is not comparable to a 1 Series, you would need an A3 for it to be a similar size. The quality of the A3 and 1 Series is very similar.
@jonathanlfccortis5006Ай бұрын
@@BuckleUpShow ….yes, I understand that they are both in the same class, but my point being the interior plastics & build quality of the BMW is a lot better than both the Audi A3 & the Mercedes-Benz A-Class. Scratchy plastics on the Audi & rattling & loose parts in the Mercedes-Benz. It’s just one of the reasons why we’ve stuck with BMW.

Your comment said the A1 has nothing to do with the Polo. That is factually incorrect whichever way you look at it. They share every component under the skin. It’s just a different body on top. Same for the Seat Ibiza and Skoda Fabia. It’s the car equivalent of putting on some makeup.
