I miss the old Chicago Stadium!! I was at this game and many home games that year. You wouldn't see The Stadium that empty for much longer!! You couldn't give tickets away the seasons before Jordan. Place would be nearly empty! Wish I could go back in time and re live these moments!!

Moncrief was the best 2 in the league before Jordan. Paul Pressey was the league's second point-forward after Bird. Terry Cummings won RoY over James Worthy and Dominique. *Orlando Woolridge would later play for the Lakers. When LA played the Magic, it was Orlando and Magic vs the Orlando Magic.

Did you know that Terry Cummings is the only person in NBA history to have a higher scoring average for a playoff series than Michael Jordan? And it was just one series....MJ played 179 playoff games on his way to 6 -0 in the finals and has the highest scoring average in NBA history in the playoffs as well as the regular season. The true all time scoring champion.

@@DrSeuss-nv9hw really it didn't change league-wide until Jordan and the rest of the '84 draft class came. The Celtics and Lakers had great attendance, but aside from Philly and Denver most other arenas were half empty or worse in the early 80s. The Kansas City Kings were only bringing in like 5,000-6000 people a night at this time.
