Bucky and John Walker vs. The Flag Smashers Fight Scene [No BGM] | The Falcon and The Winter Soldier

Karli and her team, the Smashers, put up barricades to halt the vans. Winter Soldier breaches a barricade from the opposite side and engages the Smashers. Karli instructs her team to provide Winter Soldier with a rescue target, leading to one of them setting a van ablaze.
Winter Soldier struggles to open the rear door of the burning van when Walker appears with his forged shield. He challenges Karli to a final showdown. Walker throws his shield at Karli, who skillfully deflects it. The Smashers attack Walker while Winter Soldier attempts to break an electronic lock. He finally manages to open the door and rescue the officials.
The Smashers overpower Walker, who defends himself with his shield. When one of them wields a parking meter against Walker, Winter Soldier intervenes and knocks him away. As the attacker returns, another Smasher seizes the parking meter and strikes Winter Soldier, propelling him into a nearby construction site.
The Smashers regroup to launch another attack on Walker. He fends off two of them with his shield, while Karli redirects to attack another as she heads to the other van. After a fierce battle with Walker, she stuns him, pushes a barricade aside, and escapes with the van.
As the van teeters on the edge, Walker rushes over, dumps his damaged shield to Winter Soldier, and attempts to hold the van in place. As he struggles to pull it back, Karli and the remaining Smashers overwhelm him and send him tumbling into the pit below. The van begins to fall, but Captain America swoops in, secures the front of the van, and pushes it up with the aid of his Redwings and jetpack.

One of my biggest complaints w/ MCU after Civil War was they went from having Bucky almost on par w/ Captain America to then a chump who couldn't really handle anyone!

Bucky actually fights himself while fighting Flag smasher. You can definitely tell Bucky holds back the Winter solider but every now and again it wants to come out. Catching the steal bar from the Flag smasher and also an earlier encounter with the flag smasher he catches a knife but throws it inches from the flag smasher head. Flag smasher just got serum- Bucky has serum, decades of training, Vibranium arm and last but not least a mental block that can be activated to get whatever mission accomplished. (Very scary) Winter solider feels no pain. His strength is double of what Bucky can dish out= For a comparison Steve threw his shield a winter solider< Winter solider caught it and threw it back at him cause Steve to move back at least 6ft. Not only that he bodied the other Super soldier in civil war when given an order to get his commander out the cell.

I love the fear in the Flagsmashers' eyes when they see Bucky coming at them, it's a shame it's cut out here. The fight in Latvia really showed how outclassed they were against him, and he was still seriously holding back at that point. I think deer-in-headlights guy is the idiot who tried to engage him in a knife fight. Dude was having a PTSD attack seeing that bike coming straight at him. It's also interesting how this scene calls back to the first time Karli and Bucky met, when he thought she was a hostage and tried to rescue her. Now, Karli knows she can use Bucky's good intentions against him, first with the phone call to distract him, and then by endangering the hostages. Heroes are inherently predictable, precisely because they're heroes; saving people will always be their priority. Morally grey, wildcard characters like Zemo or Walker are much harder to plan for or anticipate, but Karli really didn't seem too worried about tackling Walker head on, even though he straight up killed one of them. If anything she looked eager, whereas she really tried to avoid having to fight Bucky. When she did try to engage him she didn't land a single blow, whereas he hit her once and she went down hard. And then she was still crazy/dumb enough to chuck that rebar at his head. Pretty sure Sam saved her from a major ass whooping there, because Bucky looked about out of patience, and ready to teach those children a few lessons about what a real supersoldier can do.

I've noticed that in most instances marvel nerves most characters good and bad for no apparent reason and give no explanation. The only time we got an explanation why is when Adam warlock finally appeared in GOG 3.

@@kodesh1674 Yes but if they included the music they could get hit with copyright restrictions. Removing it gives them a 'legal loophole' to let them to play the whole scene. Without any risk of it being taken down over copyright.

Because they SJW'd it by confusing worthiness with a mans race. Sam didn't feel WORTHY to carry to be C.A not because of his race but that he wasn't super soldier. Tell me, what significance did Isiah Bradley's character even play. Really nothing, all he did was tell that a black man wouldn't be allowed to be Captain America. If you wrote out his character, would the plot miss him. Also for a show called "FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER" the real characters that were to watch were Zemo and Walker. You wanted to see whether Zemo was right that "there never was another Steve Rogers" and if Walker would prove him right when he lost his best friend, like Steve lost Bucky.

@@jackmehoff2420 well Isaiah wasn't a true super soldier, the formula used was a poor attempt to recreate the original. He was also an unwilling test subject. The government arrested him to silence it all coming out publicly.

There will always be attempts to recreate the formula, people will suffer in the attempts and when more will die because from them abusing their power. Funny thing is that Zemo respected Cap because he never let the power corrupt him.
