@@maryhufflepuff Ah, that makes sense. It took me a little while to figure it out as well. Mainly, from what I've seen, you just separate a song into parts and then agree together who gets what. And then usually whoever started the collab, gets the parts together and puts them into one video, then both editors - or more, unless it's a completely separate channel - uploads it while crediting the other editor. You can also talk to each other about what coloring you want.
