I participated in the boycott. I was an avid Budweiser guy. To this day, I've never had a beer that I enjoy as much as Budweiser. I swore I never would drink any Anhauser Busch product ever again. After awhile I saw that they were supporting candidates that aligned with my views, they are an iconic American company, and even after the boycott, I always saw Budweiser in old movies and it just reminded me of Americana. I even got angry at the UFC for choosing Bud light. I was considering boycotting the UFC and never watching another event... After Dana White came out and spoke about it, I realized I was acting like a liberal. I thought about it really hard and looked into Anhauser Busch. They really seem to be aligned with my views a lot more than most companies out there. Not most beer companies, most companies... I don't want to participate in cancel culture anymore man. Everyone messes up... I went and opened my Bible, and did what I usually do when I'm struggling with a decision (Yes, even a decision on whether or not I want to drink a certain beer) I open the Bible and point. The first thing I read has always offered a lot of really good insight on my decision. The first thing I read was a verse about forgiveness. They felt the pain. I'm ready to forgive. Everybody gets one screw up. But cancel culture is toxic... I'm done participating in it. I just want to enjoy my beer.
