Das war immer mein absoluter Lieblingsfilm der beiden. Ich erinnere mich gerne an die Zeit zurück, als ich Kind war und ganz speziell an einen Moment. Ich war acht und ich verbrachte den Urlaub mit meinen Eltern und meinem Bruder am See. Eines abends lief dieser Film. Wenn Bud Spencer & Terence Hill kamen, dann war das immer was ganz besonderes für uns alle. Am nächsten Morgen schien die Sonne über dem großen Waldstück, in dem wir unser Ferienhaus hatten und ich fühlte mich so lebendig. Ich nahm mir das Fahrrad aus dem Schuppen und fuhr den ganzen Tag durch den Wald - hin und her und rundherum und im Kopf den ganzen Tag diese Melodie. Und so fuhr ich bis zum späten Nachmittag unentwegt im Wald herum, fortwährend auf der Jagd nach erfundenen Ganoven. Ich kann nicht genau sagen, warum gerade dieser Augenblick so present für mich blieb, aber ich denke in dem Moment hab ich einfach das Leben umarmt.

i wish i had seen these sooner, saw my name is nobody a few years back, and found myself watching some spaghetti westerns with both Bud and Terence - probably Trinity movies, not sure which ones. But seeing as there are quite a few films on youtube with these guys, what a treat! these 70's and 80's movies help me relate to my childhood and what the wider world was like around the time i was born. It is a bit like being nostalgic for a time and a place i never knew. Simpler, better times. People and films didn't take themselves too seriously.
