I really enjoyed your tour. To be honest, I live here (born and raised here) but during the hard workdays, I never have enogh time to enjoy the beauty of the city. I hope you will come back during summertime, it is quite different. In the summertime, the city is vibrating and the dark grey colors of the winter change to the summer colors of green and blue. About Lancelot: That is a medieval style restaurant. About Liberty square: The US Embassy is there too. The statue with the soldiers is hated by many as they think it hurts the memory of the victims of Holocaust. About the Buda side: Maybe because I grew up there but... Whilst Pest is a beautiful and serious city, central Buda with the Royal Palace is even more gorgeous (OK, doesn't beat the Parliament but still...) and the hills with Gül Baba's tomb and the stairs going up to the Castle hill, and the statue of Liberty and its surraundings, and Gellért, and the other hills with forests to take excursions, and the Funicular, the Cog-wheel Railway, the Children's Railway, the Chair Lift to János hill, they are like a fairytale to me.

I like goulash soup when I put it inside a loaf of bread (I take everything out of the inside first so that only the space remains for the loaf), make a small hole in the top and fill it with the soup through it and eat it :-) then I eat the insides that I took out on the side, and at the end the "plate" too ;-)

Visit Budapest so that you are here at Augusz the 20th what is the birtday of the country. Search for it on KZbin. You will see the biggest firework ever over the Danube. After visiting the usual Budapest spots go th Szentendre, a nearest moody small city and in the summertime don't miss tobgi down to lake Balaton!

@@wattstraveling Well, it depends on how long do you want to stay, but I deffinetly recommend Szentendre it's a small town near Budapest. But if you have more time I live here a few recommendations so you can choose from it. Győr, Sopron: These two are very beautiful smaller cities in the countryside near the Austrian border. Esztergom: It's relatively close to Budapest and its easy to get there. Eger: It's a charming city with a beautiful old town and a castle witha very fascinating history and it's also the center of a wine region which is famous for their red wines called the Egri Bikavér. I also recommend Miskolc with Lillafüred and Miskolctapolca. (If you go there I would recommend to rent a car) It's very beautiful and you can go hiking or try the thermal bath. (Hungary is kinda famous for it's thermal spring so I would deffinitly recommend to try a bath. Either in Budapest or somewhere in the country side. In Hungary basically anywhere you go you can find a thermal bath nearby: But for the best experience I would recommend Hévíz. It's near Lake Balaton that I would also recommend. Keszthely, Badacsony, Balatonfüred, Tihany are all beautiful places at the lake. (Badacsony is not a city it's a volcanic mountain with gourges vinaries and delicious wine. But if you are into wine maybe Tokaj is the best option. It's kinda like the Hungarian Tuscany (btw Badacsony is also similar). If you are willing to travel more I would deffinitly recommend Pécs. Pécs in the summer is like some mediterranean town. It's beautiful and it has a great vibe. And Szeged is also similar. And lastly one of the best daytrips from Budapest is Tapolca. It's a charming little town with a cave system where you can ride a boat inside.

@@wattstraveling It used to be really beautiful on the inside. They have renovated it this year and made it more sleek, more modern, but many of us think that it has lost some of its elegance and charm. It's still quite pretty, though.
