Make this comment top so it might help someone. Addiction led me to a dark place of depression and schizophrenia, and I nearly gave up on everything. But things started to turn around when I began saying gratitude and repentance affirmations like ‘I am grateful, and I am sorry,’ day and night. At first, they felt like just words, but over time, they began to change my life. Now, I only repeat them three times a day-before bed, after waking up, and in the evening-for 30 minutes, and I am happy. The voice in my head has become a friend.

@@LightforChrist well good for you and i mean that. you have a personal relationship with what you consider to be your path to GOD. i wish you every blessing, but know that GOD has infinite paths and the muslim, the jew, the hindu, the atheist even, the wiccan, the krishna.. all... every path leads to an omnipresent and infinite GOD. we all have that which is sacred. in my path the world does not need a savior because GOD doesnt condemn us for being human or exercising our free will. everything has rewards and consequences of course... but no condemnation to worry about. my divinities are very much alive too. i have walked with them and have spoken to them. i have my truth. please do not deny the 6 billion humans who are not christian that which is sacred to them. all paths lead to GOD.

Ecclesiastes 9:5 says, "For the living know that they will die; but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten Hebrews 9:27 says, "People are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment". so... who is lying? the bible? or all these people selling books based on ndes? or the so called christians who love to beat others over the head with their bible verses but are on yt videos that are clearly contrary to scripture?

@@cathyvanzyl6306 paul had an epileptic seizure on the road and claimed to have had a vision. you have no way of verifying what he saw, if he saw, etc.. beyond words in a book. i believe GOD does not need to give ppl visions while they are dying. GOD can do it any time at will. i was taken up out of my bed while very much alive and well and shown our tiny corner of the cosmos by what western minds would call an angel but from a different path. i was shown my connection to everything despite my being so small and literally nothing, and how everything is connected to everything.. because i was lamenting that my efforts to serve a greater calling amounted to nothing, and i should be allowed to end myself.. because i am nothing. ive argued with GOD via mental projected messages into my head.. so i do not doubt that GOD speaks to us. what i doubt is the veracity and reliability of someone experiencing extreme trauma, clinically dead, getting all manner of drugs pumped into them etc.
