Honestly, it's more about making a contribution to this planet's civilization, rather than fixing it. If it's the case as you wanted it, then the Buddha and the Christ shouldn't be ascending to higher realms because this planet during their respective periods were not fixed, more so now with the constant divisiveness because of religious sects.

The world as an expression of sacred creation is perfect and full of beauty, even if we do not see it as beauty, but as cruelty (how animals eat other animals and natural catastrophies etc.). But the earth is a being itself with consciousness and she follows the law, as all beings follow the laws of nature, except one: the human being. It seems that we humans always go against the law, because we have a mind that tells us things that are not true. We do listen to crazy ideas, we pick up thoughts and feelings in our surroundings without even knowing it. A normal person has not the ability to identify own thoughts, because we are so overwhelmed with information 24/7. We really need to clean up our minds to be able to think a clear thought of our own and transcend our conditions to become real and authentic people who can feel and sense the inherent connection of all beings.

I need advice regarding specific practices in Bon because I am not an expert and I know that there are thousands of practitioners :) I am interested in four areas 1 - It is about cleansing places and people, from negative influences,also "ghosts" other beings etc (but also attracting positive energy and beings.) Also Phowa...for the dying/for us, recently died 2 - Healing - physical body, emotional and mental ailments, cleansing and unlocking chakras, karma etc. 3 - financial dimension, attraction of prosperity (prosperity can of course be understood more than money but...mainly financial) 4 - something for myself, work with the mind, nature of the mind Sleep and dreaming / Sleep yoga, practices that allow you to maintain awareness in phase before dreaming What are the most essential, powerful and possible to perform by Westerners, with a lack of time, practices from these four groups?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts 🙏 after years of delving into spirituality, I agree that there’s a tendency in some spiritual groups to escape this world. Most interestingly, when you delve into the essence of spirituality, it is not about escaping Earth, it is about alchemising our current state of being into a higher frequency through consciousness. So, the rainbow body seems to not leave this earth as rather show us that when we master our consciousness, we change the physical (incl the body) and bring in higher frequency for all of us 🌈🤍 hope it is insightful and valuable. Bob Thurman shouldn't make comments about Catholic theology, as he did in this video, because it betrays his colossal ignorance of it. God is not separate from creation since He is ipsum esse subsistens (which can be translated as the subsistent act of 'to be'). This means that the relation between God and creation is like the relation between a singer and her song: the song is neither identical to the singer nor completely distinct; it comes forth from the singer moment to moment. Creation is not an event; its an ongoing process coming forth from God as Being Itself. So, Bob, there is no 'separation'.

what about the four noble truths--the first of which is that this is a suffering realm? I thought that was a foundational tenet of Buddhism. (at around 5 minutes he says the opposite)

I think the 1st Noble truth would more accurately be, “there is suffering” It is often sub-optimally translated to be “life is suffering” . I hope that helps!

When one learns that it's possible to dissolve the physical body, liberating the soul from the trap, the clutches of the limitations of matter, when the Self learns that matter can be created and not destroyed but it can take another form, then the being can reach the Rainbow body.

We don't, but it is possible to evolve it. However it is rare that humans leave the body trough all 7 Chakras in the same time, usually it is their last check if they did it right. The light body, is natural occurring process, you could say like matter crystallization, it is just a different arrangement of atoms, frequency that separates quarz stone from the crystal. If one can become nothingness, not identified with what he is not, and operate his body mind emotions fluently enough, it happens naturally. The prime fuel is the desire to know the truth.

About dharma and all words mentioned here, that Indian jogi, Siddhartha invented with a different meaning is completely misleading and wrong. Tantra means technique. Mantra means science of sound, Yantra means machine. Adi jogi described all that what Siddhartha did and much much more.. thousands of years before, so rather do the real homework, and start with urself. It is pointless to go this way..thinking that u know sth by reading some books
