I feel this song give great comfort to me. I am from Taiwan. I have been listening to this mantra throughout my growing up and seen this mantra posted around the streets. People in Taiwan pray to Kuan Yin a lot and like to say the mantra when having troubles. It really evokes something familiar in me. Even though I have heard this song a lot in different versions sung by people from my country but I found this version has given me the comfort I have never experienced from other versions.
