First day owning my new BuddiHEX hexbeam and Mastwerks 7 meter tripod mast system. Here’s an A/B test to see how the antenna performed from Washington State to Prince Edward Island, Canada.

Funny Underwear Dave. VY2FU...love to listen to him for hours. He is what I call "a full blood HAM Operator with Heart & Soul". I was really thinking that the Mosley will be 1 good S-Unit or 2 louder than the BuddyHex. Wow Bummer, I am really surprized now the Hex Beam performs this good. Excellent Video. 73 de YFUG 💯🙋♂

My first contact with Dave. I had just previously worked NO5G in Louisiana and W4DRA in Florida who both gave me 1 S unit stronger report on the BuddiHEX but that audio recording was too poor to use. Amazing.

@@SOTAGoats Dave is a great Guy. He has a very good hearing cuz everytime I talked to him the Propagation was about to immediately drop down on us and we just did hear each other with 40 - 53 RST fast QSB. He is very patient with me and my miserable Endfed Wire Antenna. I am still playing with the Thoughts building me a portable Hex Beam.

Nice job! Which antenna would you say is the least obtrusive, when at the same height?
