Just spent a week at Buddy Dive. The staff are well-trained and friendly. The resort is fully equipped for boat and shore dives. My wife and I completed our advanced open water course at Buddy under the direction of our scuba instructor Austin. If you plan to take a Caribbean scuba vacation, consider Buddy Dive Resort.

I love Bonaire! Last year we stayed at Delfins and it was very nice. Will be heading back on 2 months. How did you get to Bonaire? I thought you were in Egypt? You and Holly travel to so many cool destinations I can't keep up. Enjoy!!

We’re a bit ahead of ourselves with this one as this series doesn’t fall in line with our regular videos. The next few videos out will still be in Egypt, thistlegorm is next up so keep an eye out for that one!

Yeah we were in Egypt from end of May to start of June then headed back to Caribbean to run the Kids Sea Camp weeks in Roatan, Bonaire, Cayman Islands and St Lucia for the summer. Hopefully we will catch the videos up soon.

Love Bonaire! I wasn’t staying at Buddy Dive during my trip in 2023, but we did use their drive through tank exchange. During our trip we needed to get some things so we stopped by their gear shop. Rude staff there and at their restaurant and bar. If you are not staying with them you will be treated poorly, despite the fact that they are open to non-guests. I’ve been to Bonaire 5 times now, and this is one of very few places where we didn’t feel welcomed. All that said, if going to Bonaire for the first time, Buddy’s is a good place to stay until you get more familiar with the island.

Spent a week diving at this resort. My biggest mistake was staying in a different hotel across the road. Now I want to come back and do it properly! This is probably the best organized and situated diving resort in the hemisphere if not the world. Staff is competent and friendly. You have to do boat diving to go to Klein Bonaire and Karl’s Hill dive site specifically. It’s amazing. Gotta say that Ingredients restaurant is a little pretentious and overpriced but doing breakfast there is amazing. Blennies restaurant can get a little boring after a while, but having a meal by the sea with incredible sunsets is awesome. Highly recommend this resort!!!!

I completely agree with you, including Blennies comments. The setup for diving is perfect at Buddy
