BUDDY GUY 2010 [HD] ~ Hoochie Coochie Man. Mr Buddy Guy, one of the World's Greatest Jazz and Blues Musicians was in Vernon BC preforming at the Rarearth Jazz and Blues Fest and we were fortunate to be invited to film the entire event. Mr Buddy Guy was the Headliner and that alone was reason enough to be there but we were also there to greet Buddy at the airport when he arrived in the Okanagan and ended up giving Buddy Guy and Max(his agent) a ride to their hotel. One of our amazing YOLO adventures.
High def video facts: It took 8:33:40 to render (that's 8 hours and 33 minutes) the video is 1.92 GB and it took more than 5 hours to upload to KZbin.

What's funny is the same can go for hip hop and rap. hip hop is a veary emotional type of music but yet all rappers care bout now days is money hoes and clothes

Really good point Noah, fully agreed. The original rappers were, to my mind, the modern equivalent of the original bluesmen on a dusty porch, sat on a rocking chair with a guitar and using a beer bottle as a slide, writing statements about their life - rapping is all about telling stories in a slightly different way - the other day I was listening to ''Where is the Love'' and the verses, as such, were beautiful.

@@martinmayberry8946 - old school rap (Run DMC, Kool Moe Dee) or Hip Hop (NWA, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg) told a story the way they saw it. Honestly their stories weren't lies. You think Ice Cube who was college educated and not a criminal but was treated like a gang member by police was a good thing? he told his story out of anger in a way that was legal and was arrested for singing "Fuck Tha Police" and the police violated the 1st Amendment of the Constitution.

I could kick myself! I was at Roskilde Festival in 1998 (1999 and 2001). It just occurred to me Buddy was playing that year and I did not know who he was so I was not at his concert !! My taste in music has gotten better since :-)

In 2008, I think it was, I saw this exact number played this exact same way by Guy and the band, at the Cape Cod Melody Tent, in Hyannis. When the other guitar player stepped out to solo, I knew he was going to spin his axe, because I'd seen him do it before. Guy the Virtuoso shows here that he is also Guy the Entertainer, on a level with all of the greats, in any style. I understand completely why Clapton loves him, reveres him, and is (slightly) intimidated by him.

I saw him in the 1980s when I was at my "metalist". I thought volume = power. Then he brought the band down REAL low, stepped to the side of the mic, and started singing "I Just Want to Make Love to You." It was a half step above silence, but to this day I have NEVER heard anything more powerful.
