Mine arrives tomorrow. Had the 1st version many years ago. In btw, heard that it works better stacked with a real jtm45 into the point of breakup, so that it allows you to get all the chesse and genuine character of the amp with the pedal by crankin it up with the BOR. Anyway... tomorrow I'll know if its true. Great demo man. Greetings from Chile

Its a great pedal and the circuit inside is pure genious. People moan all the time "Oh, all is just TubeScreamer, Bluesbreaker or Klon knock off" and the obvious creative answer is right there with ZVex. All of his pedals are original and purr genious ❤

I love Z Vex pedals and use a Box of Rock and a Distortron. I have a '59 Sound a Fuzz Factory and a Fat Fuzz Factory and they all respond suberbly to the volume control and/or dynamic playing. The only Z Vex drive pedal that I've found that doesn't respond so well is the Mastotron, and that lives in a weird world of its own... ... and we don't admit to the OoWah, Shhh.

It's always odd to hear about ZVEX and the owner whose real name is not Zachary. If you haven't read his back story, it's pretty wild, very bizarre. Glad it turned into creating some iconic pedals because his life could have turned out very differently.
