Just finished brake job on 325i including calipers. Great video tutorial. You lay everything out step by step including extra "how to tips" such as using various lubricants and cleaners to make brake parts install and work smoothly. Mine worked like a charm... One small detail in case nobody mentioned it....Those mount bolts are 18mm, at least on my BMW and it's pretty factory. Thanks again!

Good Evening . Thank you for the video. I have a 2006 BMW E90 316i very well maintained with 90,000 km. The front ventilated discs from the factory were (22.00) mm thick. My question is: how many mm is the minimum thickness of the disks that I have to change them? (how much is their wear limit?). Thank you.

Yes sir. Same thing. Alot of cars don't even have a screw holding the rotor in place. Most of the time is just the wheel holding the rotor to the hub!

I got sent the wrong disks Iv the e91 disks and pads. But Iv a e82 120d He told me it’s the same it will fit all I have to do is cut the pad clips that fit into the pistons

Is it not necessary to bleed the line while compressing?

No reason since it is a closed system, or your brake lines are leaking but that is a other problem.

How can you tell that needed replacement? Miles used?

One was wrapped. Also yes miles for sure. You can also see the deep grooved in the rotor. And you can look up the thickness of the caliper spec. And take some cheap caliper measuring tool and check yourself!! Look up caliper measuring tool on google and you'll see what took I'm talking about! And other questions leave then here!

Don’t buy the brake compressor tool he recommend. If you have a 335i the caliper is different and that tool will not work. I made the mistake by buying it.

I noticed you put the jack stand in the front of the car. Can you tell me exactly where? I have an E92 and I’m looking for safe places to put jack stands besides the jack points on the side of the car. Thanks!
