man... i have just been so impressed with her acting. she really has done so much for that character. i'm so glad she's not dead... i would have, like... cried. for serious. tess mercer is the best thing that ever happened to smallville, dudes. and cassidy freeman seems like a really cool and intelligent person. really happy and clever, great sense of humor... so very different from tess.
