Thanks I recently listened to the first Dinosaur Jr album 'cause I learned J Mascis stacks a Tone Bender into a Big Muff for solos

Very cool chord progression. Pinky on the D forces me to be more disciplined and not so sloppy / rushed…maybe not easy but best for getting better at guitar. Always liked the vocals to this, D Jr has such a unique melodic vocal sound .

Yep, very unique song and band. Definitely good to practice those chords that stretch your fingers out for better dexterity.

What key would this be in? B Dorian? B Minor? Because B minor would make the C# Minor chord an accidental.

I believe it is B Dorian, because you are starting on the ii of the A Major scale. Putting it in the Dorian mode which is Bm - C#m - D.

I’m playing this and realizing if I change up the strumming it sounds like the Buzzcocks, maybe the vocals as well I find a similarity. I don’t see any Buzzcocks in your lessons … Not sure if that was obvious, if I’m way off or if I’m just hearing things in my head again. When you mute the D string with the tip of your finger I can get a cool harmonic, I heard that in your demo here.

I recently listened to Buzzcocks - A Different Kind of Tension 'cause I heard some punk bands were using Flanger
