Well done and congratulations on this series, C. I’ve followed along from the start building my bare metal bobber I’ve taken to calling “ little rusty”. The amount of information you’ve provided along the way has been well presented and tested and proven by you. You’ve made mine and I’m sure many other vx250 owners feel confident that we could replicate and do these mods ourselves In our own sheds with basic toolkit’s. I’ve pretty much finished mine and am moving to an XJ600 as my next project. I’m keen to follow along with whatever your next project may be. Saturday mornings wouldn’t be the same! Cheers!!!

Great walk through series. Haven't watched all your vids, but might have to start over again to do so.. Have just purchased myself another xv250, with the view to build a functional novelty bike. They sure are 1 of the best small bikes to enjoy.

Thank you very much for the great content I have only recently come across this build and you have inspired me to do my own build I have risen sport bikes all my life and have now decided to buy a 2001 vstar 250 I'm picking it up next week and then another couple weeks waiting for parts I have never built a bobber nor any bike for that matter but thanks to your videos I think I should be find I'm also going to video document my experience and upload to KZbin so I to can help out people wanting to do a bobber build but are a little nervous about it or have a low budget cheers for the inspiration mate..

Thank you mate, this is why I did the videos, in a sea of youtube negatives, people bitching cause they don't understanding, people trying to be funny, trolls or thinking a free youtube mod will double horsepower etc. You get the pleasure of inspiring genuine guys and gals who want to personalise their bike and it's cool. Good luck with your build and let us know how it goes, cheers!

@@iRidetas well, I got honda steed 400 for about $666. Runs like beast but need few things like fuel valve and speedometer. However, previous owner told me he changed oil and drove it for 20km. I smell gas in oil crankcase, while oil level is high. I thought the shop he went to didn't change it probably and mixed oil with gas thinking it's a 2 stroke. Or the gas smell is normal? Oil colour is a bit dark in volume.
@iRidetas6 жыл бұрын
oil in fuel not a great combo. I wouldnt assume it was the stroke mix thing mate. Carb float could be stuck open. Fuel thins down the oil making it less effective at lubrication so just be careful. Good luck.with your bike mate!
@AzeezOverseas6 жыл бұрын
@@iRidetas thanks bud. I'll take out the dual carbs, and also check the drain tube hole if it's plugged.

Hello there 👍 hope you don’t mind me asking, do you think viragos are ok for size? I’m 5:11 and want to buy one and solo it with low bars but worried the 535 may end up too small? Any thoughts? Thanks for the channel by the way 👍 superb
