Every time i watch a body kit install on KZbin I'm reminded to never buy a bodykit. If i spent $3600 on one and it fit that poorly i would be pissed.
@shona55124 жыл бұрын
That's fiberglass for you. They can be made to fit, they just take so much time and patience to get everything aligned correctly. My brother's Feed Type II body kit for his RX-7 fit like absolute shit and was way off.. But after about 2 hours of tweaking, it managed to fit normally. The annoying part is spending time to align it on a test fit, then having to take it off, paint it and then align again. That being said.. this kit is fucking horrendous.
@boastyy4 жыл бұрын
That's terrible fitment for the price, bought a £500 bodykit which fitted better. Was far from perfect like they all are, had to do a lot of work to get it right but kind of expected for the price.

Most quality brands fit without any real issue. Now if you buy some crapp off eBay, its most likely s replica and poorly made.
@joealex654 жыл бұрын
Well, you shouldn't be pissed, the real deal kit costed like 20k and was full carbon fiber and was a very limited production, that ebay POS is based of the Vorsteiner GTRS3 widebody kit and it's just a really bad replica 😂

I'm in Brazil and I work with fiberglass / artesanal parts, mainly focused to restoration projects and a few customization over classic cars from mid 90's. I do most of my work with passion for the brands and models I work with, and for the past 4 years, I've been focusing to learn and give my best to preserve these cars, by making only quality parts for them. So, I can say by the experience I have.. no matter the materials you use.. as long as you really know what you are doing, and if you enjoy doing it, results can be far better than even original OEM parts itself. I can't understand how still exists people who work in this business only for money, without any sense of quality / fittment of their parts what so ever. Honestly, charge and sell parts that wasn't been properly tested or developed is unacceptable in my point of view. If everyone requested refunding and return of those poorly made parts, soon or later this sort of stuff would no longer be available on the market..

you should continue the "rivet plates" (that join the bumper and front fenders) above the headlights, slowly tapering down to a single point at the hood, instead of abruptly cutting them square at the outside edge of the headlights. i guess that will compliment the bottom eyelids well and look like "upper eyelids" which will be a little more fluid and elegant. absolutely loved how rest of the body kit came out ❤
