Oh I love that leg catch 😂on the fireplace mantle… and all of the almost accidents. 😂👏🏼That’s great content to see you as you are. Not edited like other folks that always have to be perfect. So great you can combine a community project in your video. The little hex thingy is an Allen wrench. I too was always at my dad’s side as he worked. When I saw your grip on the hammer it reminded me. My dad was always reminding me you lose the heft of the hammer if you don’t grip at the base. I was always afraid I would miss the nail completely if I held it “correctly “. Looking forward to the rest of the story.

Everything is looking beautiful!! Love the letter/envelope you found. I was excited a couple years ago when I found a cool whip coupon in my kitchen heat register from 1989. I still have it in a zip lock bag because it was almost to the disintegrated point. I can't wait to see the finished room 💖

You can buy hex bits for your electric drill/screwdriver - so handy if putting together lots of furniture like this!
