I also live in Canada, Gatineau, Québec and have extremely dry and sensitive skin. I've been using the Bioderma Atoderm Face and Body CLeansing Oil for a couple of years now. Last time I paid $22 for a huge bottle on Amazon. Never leaves leaves a residue. Is great for a first cleanse when using sunscreen or heavy make-up

Have you tried Byoma's Milky Oil Cleanser, Ashley? It's the sister product to the balm, but omg, so much better in my opinion. I found the Byoma balm to be a bit too greasy for my taste, but it isn't bad. However, their oil cleanser is a dream. I've never come across one that's so affordable and does such an excellent job of removing stubborn makeup and sunscreen. ❤

No I haven't tried the Milky Oil Cleanser yet but now you have peaked my interest!! I will definitely try it🥰 Thanks for the suggestion💗

Thank you for the drugstore skincare video. I do use a few of these. So important to take care of your skin early on in life to age gracefully. Unfortunately I waited years before I did my routine. Thanks again for doing this. Happy Easter to you and of course to Berkley ❤

Thanks for the updates! I too scoured the local Shoppers stores and found the CeraVe cleanser on an end-cap. Very nice to use, with no oily residue. Unfortunately I found it too drying in the end on my (normal to dry) skin. Their hydrating cleanser and the Cetaphil cream-to-foam work for me. I did just get samples of the LRP Toleriane dermo-cleanser and the thermal spring water which I will try.
@SincerelyMissAsh9 ай бұрын
Oh really?? I don't find it drying at all but of course we are all different.
@anadelrocio29839 ай бұрын
Same. I found it more watery than oily and it just didn’t pack that hydrating punch I need. The cream-to-foam version feels better on my combo/dry skin. That said, I do like the oil cleanser as a makeup remover.

The cerave Cleanser isnt an actual oil cleanser tho. The first ingredient is water so it is a cleanser with oils and a thicker oil like texture. It doesn't work on dry skin, so you have to wet it to get it to work. Real oil cleansers aren't supposed to be applied on wet skin, rather only rinsed after cleansing the skin.

The Cicalfate lives in my rotation! And……I’m also really enjoying the Byoma line. I’m especially loving the spray and the gel moisturizer and will definitely add the cleansing balm if I can get it at our local Shoppers☺️. One drugstore product I’ve recently discovered and am LOVING ( on my 2nd bottle) is the Vichy Meno 5 bi- serum. This is a GORGEOUS product and a beautiful drink of hydration for my skin at night:) Always love and appreciate your recommendations- especially as a fellow Canadian 💕🥰 Xo 🇨🇦

I’ve been using the La Roche Posay foaming oil cleanser and I love it! Also the vani cream moisturizer has been great while using tretinoin just not as hydrating as I need. I’ve been interested in the Avene cream so I’ll give that a try
@SincerelyMissAsh9 ай бұрын
The Avene Cicalfate is AMAZING paired up with Tretinoin. If you have been struggling to find a cream that is rich and moisturizing then it's a must try! Would love to hear your thoughts once you try it 😊

@@SincerelyMissAsh it didn’t do much to soothe the dryness😩😂 but on the plus side I have been using the Clinique moisture surge mask and that has been amazing! Plus it comes in a huge tube so it’ll definitely last! I’m going to have to add in an aha at some point for the physical dry flakes.

The olay sunscreen did leave a white cast on your hand. There is no such mineral sunscreen (nontinted) with no whitecast, just to what degree. Also, $52 (after tax) for 50mL, wow, no thanks. Olay price is just ridiculous for drug store.

I just bought it on Amazon for a lot less, and LOVE it, no white cast after a few minutes.

I do like seeing drugstore videos, but it’s terrible that most of the products you’re promoting aren’t cruelty free and are still tested on animals. (CeraVe, LaRoche Posey & Avenida). How about a cruelty free drugstore haul?

Children’s hospitals test on animals. You gonna boycott children’s hospitals too?

@@Ceetuslupeedus ok .. we are not talking about medical research here. We are talking about the cosmetic industry. There is no comparison to the thousands of medical researchers that dedicate their lives to Researching, understanding and finding cures for diseases and illnesses for people of all ages - so we can hopefully live healthier lives. We are talking about the cosmetic industry! Bless your heart … I guess you don’t quite understand the difference between the two!

@@anothergoldendayit’s not only the medical field. Your tires on you car were used on animals. The cleaning products you use are tested on animals. Toothpaste, makeup, shampoos and conditioner, ziplock baggies, etc etc. The point is, if you really want to go cruelty free, you’d have to boycott hundreds of things in your life so complaining about someone’s makeup video for not being cruelty free, is being hypocritical.
