Hi Dave. My preference for a cookbook is printed spiral bound so it lays flare on the counter to use while cooking. Just my thoughts. This looks yummy! Thank you!

I would think the ground meat juice is water as it does evaporate where oil just remains and surfaces. This is a great alternative to cabbage rolls with all the comfort, flavor and health benefits!

I'd buy it. Generally I prefer soft cover, unless it's at least 3/4 of an inch thick. Rhulman's Charcuterie, Kenji's The Food Lab and The Wok, and Fannie Farmer Cookbook I all have in hard cover. If it's not in a large book format I prefer it soft cover, that being said, I'd buy it anyhow, I've used more recipes from you then from most of my cookbooks.

Nice one Dave I done this before but I added some leek cut into like a sheet, you should get yourself a meat grinder I got one and haven't looked back

Dave my friend , very nice recipe & yes on us & the girls , we like cabbage rolls so this will work, & yes they do pump water or broth into meat , but here it has to be listed in the ingredients , & yes to make more profit. Yes on the cookbook , I think a spiral would be best as it will lay flat & folks can refer to it easily while making recipes. One thing I would do on the casserole is blanch some big outer leaves to place on the bottom of the pan & then shredded on the other layers. btw , I left you posts on your replys on the past recipes, & I always do as it would be considered rude here for me when I post, you reply , & I do not say thank you , or sorry you didn't like my idea, whatever the case . Keep your stick on the ice pal. I think I will make some mashed turnips for a side item also.
