This recipe is perfect for a busy weeknight! You can even make it ahead and bake it later! Feeds my family of four plus it makes leftovers. For this recipe I used:
Filling:
2 pounds cooked seasoned chicken
3 Cups cooked rice ( I used white rice)
3 cups broccoli florets
1/2 cup sharp shredded cheddar cheese (optional for filling)
2 1/2 cans of condensed cream of chicken soup
*can use three cans or use two cans and add 1 c sour cream
1/2c milk
2tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Topping:
2 cups sharp shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
1 tsp Thyme
1/3 cup melted butter or Margarine
