Wow we've stayed there in Splendido Tower2 Ann's Unit with my family. The unit was spacious, very nice specially the view of Taal and Golfcourse and the owner was very kind and accomodating. Very affordable. The wifi was quite fast. I don't know why it was slow when you were there.

Visit the Twin Lakes Hotel. Nice view of Taal Volcano and lake and surroundings as well.

ah... Why didn't you go check out the golf clubhouse there? Its separate from the sports center, you have to drive down further, its nice to dine there with a view of the gold course,

Try and visit crosswind in Tagaytay and enjoy the coffee shops too. It is just further away from the picnic grove.

Much rather stay in Prime Residences for $19/night AB&B and walk across the street to a McDonalds (Calamba Rd.) open 24/7 with a spectacular view of the lake & volcano. Superbly furnished AB&B as well. --- Monthly stays are said to be a real bargain.
