My opinion I think you should have put the big missing piece on his cheek if your going for part 7 and you easily could’ve gone for part 6 and I think you should have moved the axe cut over on the holes, just my opinion though

It's still basically Part 7. Problem with the missing cheek's that basically unless you are wearing some make-up or a mask underneath, it's going to expose too much skin and therefore while the mask may look great on its own, in-use it will throw off the costume. As for the axe mark? Thing is, it's in the right spot, it's the hole placement that's off which is just the nature of this mask and thus if she were to move the axe mark to be over the holes, it would throw everything off.

Looks good for a cheap and cheerful costume, Also If you want a good looking Jason costume without spending an absolute fortune go for a part 4 final chapter Jason, All you need is a white under t-shirt (buy them from almost any where ) green shirt get from a site called jacamo works very good then get non pleated trousers in a sliver/gray, Work boots work good not super accurate but they work really well then as for the hood they can range any where in price and then the hockey mask I can happily make you one for free I'm not the best but I find they certainly look decent and the ones I use look a lot more accurate than the 1 quid ones you find in wilko or poundland.

Jason does not have a shirt like that. Only in part 2 but he has overalls and does not have the hockey mask. And the rib cage piping out was only in part 7. So I have no clue what look he was going for.

It's a kind of Part 7 look that's mainly done for the sake of having something to wear while doing some work outside with the cheapest materials available instead of being a full-blown cosplay because in that case, then it'd be a matter of probably sourcing clothes and props, figuring out the right details and so on but for stuff like this? Really one's focus is more on utilizing what you got, what you can find and convenience. In this case for instance, the video maker mentioned they tried their damnedest to find this green workshirt and the only shirt she happened to find that was green was this shirt and since she was on a budget and a time limit considering the purpose of the costume, she just decided to work with it and even poked that it's wrong by making a joke that one could say she's homaging Part 2 since Jason had that kind of shirt in that movie. Because let's be frank, if you spend hundreds of dollars to make a movie accurate Jason costume, especially a Part 7 which requires you have various bits of either latex or silicone along with the several layers of clothing and then you try to do ANY yardwork in that thing, you're putting yourself through far more suffering than one would ever need to.

I'm not the uploader but keep in mind, the mask has pretty big eyeholes and I'm assuming that by work she meant she'd be doing work in the day and/or evening and not at night so the mesh shouldn't impede too much on eyesight.

CS5's costumes are AWESOME... but they're made for a very different purpose. See this costume is not intended to be an ultra-movie accurate cosplay. The video explains it outright that this is an outfit intended to be just a quick and easy thing to throw together to wear while doing work outside. CS5's costumes are intended to show how accurate one can make a costume while being as cheap as possible.

These masks you have to be very cautious with. In particular, what I'd recommend is that you take your time with drilling or do what this person did and invest in a bit for your dremel or even a step-bit for a drill. If you don't want to do that? Ebay has quite a few masks for only $2 and sometimes even less which have the correct amount of holes and good hole placement already.

Thing is, there are reasons for that. First, it all comes down to details that change from movie-to-movie. In some movies, yes Jason has a thick axe mark but in others, it's fairly thin and in the case of Part 7 which is partially what this look is based on despite being on a budget? The mark itself looks pretty thin so it works. Next, there's the matter of the mask's integrity itself. Keep in mind that this mask featured in the video is a $1 generic hockey mask that's thin, kind of flexible and light meaning you're limited to how much damage you can truly implement because too much damage means that this thing can be a floppy mess that basically will eventually rip itself apart through repeated use.
