I freeze my raspberries straight away, (do not wash them) especially when you get a few boxes reduced! Was surprised they didn’t stick and you can take a few out at a time, then rinse them , then use. Never waste these expensive berries 😊

Yes raspberries and strawberries tend to go off so quickly and they’re not cheap either. I shop at lidl too. I love ❤️ the free bakery stuff you get. I’ll have to have a lookout for that pizza. I prefer chicken thighs and drumsticks. I got some drumsticks the other week in Lidl and was less than £2. I buy that cottage cheese and mix it with eggs - sounds horrible but is really nice. I know what you mean with packets of ham does have a lot of rubbish in them. I get that peanut butter too. It’s really nice. We get the Cadbury’s crunchies from Lidl. Thank you for sharing xxx

Hey there! Thank you for your lovely comments! I absolutely love Lidl! It's just amazing, isn't it? I always get the basic cheese & tomato pizza for my 6-year-old. It's only 99p and I can portion it into 3-4 servings for her, so it's really affordable. I'm a big fan of cottage cheese, and I'll definitely have to try it with egg! And who doesn't love a good Crunchie, right? X

Hello Leanne, you lucky folks in the UK have Rogers Discount Warehouse scattered around the UK. I do hope you already know about it. The savings are huge. Try to watch a video. It takes a bit of time, perhaps a family outing hehehe. How did your cous cous experiment work out? Jacques
@leannejayne354525 күн бұрын
@@jacquespoulemer I’ve not heard of Roger’s Discount Warehouse, will look it up! Cous cous is going really well, I’ve been cooking it in veg stock and then adding chicken, cooked peppers, herbs etc, delicious, much better than cous cous in a packet!

Great video - you've got some amazing bargains - well done! I used to have a weekly delivery from Tesco but changed to Aldi when the cost of living crisis hit. We love Lidl but it's further away unfortunately but we go if we're in the area. We find Lidl a teeny bit more expensive than Aldi but then it has the app and money off coupons which we don't get at Aldi. I love your nail varnish. May I ask what brand/colour it is? Best wishes

Hi Jane! I’m keen to try Aldi, it’s a 20 minute drive from us, but interested to do a price compare (taking into account Lidl plus rewards) it would be interesting to see! Oh thank you! - I’m a self employed Nail tech, it’s CND shellac in ‘Satin Pyjamas’ x

The saving on the whole £450 you have to spend reduces the saving to 8.89% of the whole cost to qualify. It is a good saving if you can get a lot of dry or long keep products like washing powder, because not a lot of people spend £200 in a month on their weekly shops.
@leannejayne3545Ай бұрын
@@grahamjohnson4702 Yes, I appreciate it’s not as easy for some. I always try to take full advantage of it. Like you mention, we try to stock up on washing powder, dry goods, cat food, toiletries, tinned food , toilet rolls etc. thanks Graham!

I just love the app. I never get to £250 as just the two of us usually £150, but this month alone I saved around £14 with freebies. I just don't know why people don't use it. Take care

@@leannejayne3545 I have just looked at the Lidl plus application, and I'm sure I have found the reason that people don't use the app, it is the complicated structure of signing up that is putting me off.

Not been to Lidl since Xmas as every other super markets in half a mile of me and Lidls a mile..excuses I know but here in Leeds we're blessed with it all close by. I feel I should go for a visit soon, did like their products. Only thing I wouldn't get there is that toilet roll, Nicky pk32 in Home Bargains I prefer at 8.50, but I shall defo come for frozen raspberries as I need to eat them fast when bought fresh as no one else likes them but me.
