Love the Stellar , We spent 5 nights in the Ozarks a few weeks ago and it worked out perfect, 2 pillows, 12v blanket, sheet, top sheet , sleeping bag and a rumple quilt all closed up inside the tent. We did change out the mattress to a self inflating one. We do not however put the ladder inside the tent since we have ample space in the bed of the Gladiator.
@jeffd223Ай бұрын
Seriously loving our Stellar. It’s so roomy and the mattress is comfy as heck. I’m 6'3" and can stretch out all the way without my toes touching anything. So awesome! The U-bar design is a game changer. Sitting inside feels so open and chill with no cramped vibes at all. Every camping trip feels like next level! 👍

the Top Oak Moon Roof alone is worth more than $260.00 extra. that is definitely a winner.
@rhettstАй бұрын
Totally agree! That Top Oak Moon Roof takes the experience to a whole new level. There's just nothing like sleeping under the stars at night.
@TwoFeatherChannelАй бұрын
@@rhettst exactly. that's the main reason I would want the moon roof for. next reason is because heat rises to the highest point, so that opening would be the perfect place for heat exhaust, while the door ways will draw in the cooler air flow.

I have a 2” foam mattress topper and some other stuff in my galaxy 2.0 the key is putting them in the back half. The front has the ladder and the bar. But closes and seals just fine.

We have the Nature Nest we added a 2" matress on top of the standard mattesss which made the sleeping much better. The vent is a must we have a fan blowing out to help with the huge amount of condensation. No flap for the heater is a minus I'm 5.7 and we need more room . With no extra mattress I could close my bedding up inside but it was difficult. I like the compactness when closed. Would I buy it again, no. I have had many sleeps in this tent it is crowded with 2 adults.

Thanks for showing what it looks like lying down in there. I’m a little shorter than you so it gives me good perspective. I like the Intrepid you got but not convinced I need to invest that much in this overlanding hobby…yet. I spend most of my free time on 2 wheels currently but I’d certainly love to hit the flat tops sometime. Intrepid’s Black Friday deal may push me over the edge. 😁 I’m also considering an FSR wedge.

I have the Galaxy 1.0 myself. It’s definitely a great value tent, especially considering its price. It has become my loyal friend on many trips. The large side windows are the biggest difference in the Stellar, and I also love the thicker mattress on Stellar. Topoak always bring great products to the market

I’ve had a roam tent, currently have a tuff stuff alpha and also bought the nature nest orion tent. My wife and I love the nature nest most out of the more expensive ones. Just more comfortable. Love how the Orion windows can be opened up on all 4 sides. The diesel heater vent is built in. When the hurricane weather came through upstate SC, we just camped in the backyard for 2 weeks till the power came back on. Very comfy tent. Would recommend to anyone.

I was fortunate to land the Heyfun RTT as an early Christmas present for 1074 with tax and free shipping. Looks exactly like the Naturenest except Anderson plug addition. Has stainless steel struts, rubber textured floor with felt pad, anticondensation pad then mattress. Also came with extra lighter color awning to switch out if so desired. Strong ladder, roof crossbars and Ceiling padded/ quilted looking with storage pockets as well. Led light strip same spot as Naturenests. Just installed so haven't slept in it yet but laying down a little seemed pretty comfy on my side. I'm initially pretty impressed for that price. FYI

If you put the pillow/bedding towards the front of the vehicle it’ll be easier to close as all the fabric of the tent is being stuffed towards the rear of the vehicle. Just a little tip for anyone trying to store bedding up top.
