Well we are back with our $1250 1991 Ford E350 Motorhome. She"s got a fuel injected 460 big block Ford and a E4OD overdrive transmission. Its actually called a Winnebago Itasca In this video we are going to tackle things like fixing the roof, installing a generator, fixing the air conditioning, and painting. All on a budget of course. How mush money are we going to have in this project when it"s done? Let"s find out together!

Sweat equity for sure!!! You-all were making me sweat just watching. Really nice to see Squeezy (sp?) seems to have found her niche in this old car hobby. Every family member pulling together....it's a beautiful thing, even if the relative humidity is drenchingly high! And may I say, the girls have the best bed in the house....I love the loft with all those windows....magical. My husband and I lived in a tiny camper while building our house and I got the loft bed....wouldn't have traded it for anything! Where is Ralphie gonna sleep? A fun video all around...good work everybody! Hope youall have fun in it soon!!

Hey, next time you want to support a flimsy roof get a couple of lengths of 2x2 alloy box and put it on the topside, then when you screw the roof panels up you have something solid to screw to. It also makes a good base for solar panels and you won't need to make additional holes. Works great. 👍

Just love seeing the family work ethic! Y'all rule. A comment on the generator fuel supply; the pickup in the tank is at the 1/4 tank level so you can't run the MH out of gas. You might try connecting the gas pump when the tank is full.

Nope if you fixed it and it works you did it right : ) and the family all helped that is a plus : ) My kids are all grown so mine is more of a keep me busy project. What you and your family have done together will be long lasting memories for all of you. Keep us posted on the progress and thanks for sharing your family with us for some of us it really makes our day to see family time in this messed up world.. Have a great day.

Back in the early 80's we bought a 1959 Ford D bus from a church up the road and built the inside into a camper. We used the original seats turning two of them from the right side backwards and mounting them on the left side to have two tables and 4 bus seats behind the driver's seat. Built wood walls and frames and put two double beds, bunk style behind the seats with the bathroom behind that all on the driver's side. On the passenger side we built a large countertop with a double basin sink, behind that was an apartment size gas stove converted to propane, a full size fridge behind that, a set of single upper & lower cabinets and 2 sets of single bunks behind that. We mounted the air conditioner in the back upper glass hole of the emergency door. The great thing about it was being steel it never leaked. Of course the bad thing about it was, being steel the AC could only keep the back half of the bus cold and camping in the winter was just stupid cold, lol. We only camped in it in winter once...that was more than enough, but we'd camp in it every summer in the Smoky's and at Dale Hollow and at Land Between the Lakes at Buchannon. Fortunately all the windows in the bus still worked so going down the road wasn't too hot and the driver's seat had a fan mounted up in the corner of the roof beside the big mirror the driver used to watch the kids with. Top speed on flat ground was 60mph as that big bus only had a little 292 under the hood. If I had it now I'd still camp with it, but I'd add another AC unit on the roof at the front end, lol.

I have to say, you are one nice family. I am so impressed they wayyou all pulled together on this project. Shows people that you don't have to be rich to have a nice RV. And you guys are going to have a very nice RV. My wife and myself along with our dogs have been RVing since 2003 and have between 65,000 to 70,000 plus RV miles under our belt. And I have to say we have never regreted it. What an adventure we have had. Not without challenges, but we came through it all.. I know you and your family with have adventures also. Great family memories. I am excited to see your maiden voyage. I have watched this whole video. And enjoyed all of it. I like you generator idea. I may do something on my fifth wheel. I think I will get the Harbor freight generator. I have been looking at them a few years. You all are awesome. And you set a great example to what a family should be. Take care, Ed.

Hi there from across the pond 👌 I've just fallen in love with your channel, i love how the whole family just pitches in and gets on with it, it looks like y'all have a really good relationship , and a really good work ethic, but apart from that, i love watching all the different projects that you do, I'm loving the motor home revamp, it's looking great. Oh and i love all the animals you have, Rocky just loves to get in the thick of it, and seems to want to eat everything 🤦‍♂ .

@@Sleeperdude thanks for the reply, and yea, that was an issue I had with my old rig, what I did was just install a temporary bypass in the hot and cold lines that went to it initially, and removed the unit all together, I had an idea to use like black rubber hoses on the hot side and then get a small holding tank (even one of those 5g water bottles that are used with a water cooler) wrap that in insulation and such to hold the hot water gathered then run one of the lights to a second 12v pump to the shower so you can have hot water on demand

Haven’t finished the whole video yet. What you scraped off the roof that stuck to the osha flip flops was lap sealant. Old roof penetrations could be radio/tv antenna and solar connections. Your roofs probably good with all you did. If you have problems try the dicor over top on seams/penetrations. It seems to seep into cracks and holes if you put it on while it’s hot out. Get some rv toilet tank drop ins, really helps with the odor, and breaking up anything in the black tank. Nothing worse while on the road than black tank issues. If you have septic you can add a dump connection in your line. Can’t wait to see family trips in this beauty.
