He talks about the rise in Aadhaar-related exclusions, eKYC mismatches and biometric authentication failures, and outlines a Budget that would actually be sensitive to the needs of the elderly, particularly the ageing poor.

Nikhil, while I fully agree with you that the "Welfare State" has scant regards for our senior citizens and their plight. But the governments' hands are tied. They just don't have any money left after spending on statues, advertising for PM and CM .....

My pre budget : Andhra will bet bonus & project. Tamilnadu with tough fight, pondicherry - free tax on liquor, price hike on student materials, Gujarat - with free flow of Ganjas, Manipur - With No Money, Kerala - with religion shift may get some funds, Bihar - Will get money to purchase MLA's. Middle Class Indians - will be left in the middle of the Taxes and GST.
