for the bed i recommend getting a cheap mattress but splashing out on a mattress topper, especially a memory foam one, i got one for like $200 from ikea and it’s literally so comfy

I get the reason behind cleaning your setup up for a photo or video but if you're going to compare it to your uncleaned setup before, maybe show an after shot from a week later when it's messy so you can get a real idea of what the makeover actually did, not boosted by being dirty vs clean.

An easy fix for an uncomfortable mattress is a foam mattress topper. 1-2 inch thick foam makes a world of difference and Walmart has them for around $25.

I actually use a shelf below the computer monitor so I can put my keyboard and mouse more eaily. Also, I put my alarm clock under the monitor so I can see the time easily while using the computer.
