Mind you to visit Nuwara Eliya when you come to Sri Lanka. If you go there, take the Badulla Train whose name of the train is Podi Menike. And do visit Ella, Lokanthaya and Horton Plains as well. You can cover all those places in your Nuwara Eliya trip. In fact, Nuwara Eliya is called Small England which implies it is so cold. And if you are interested in history of Sri Lanka, do visit Seegiriya and Ruwanveli Seya. But try to accompany with someone who knows the history of those places when you go there. And If you would like to enjoy beaches, do go to Unawatuna and Ruumassala in Galle. Wish you all the best for your trip. I also visited many places in India including Bihar, Jaipur, Chennai and so on.

Which part of india did you visit? India itself is like 10 different countries, culture and lifestyles put together North-center cities are more chaotic given their complex history and population. You will find similar of vibe of sri lanka in the southern side of India- Kerala, Goa, Pondicherry

Hey Malvika, Sri Lanka is pretty much hot all over the year, temperature is little low in december and jan, a very short window though. So don’t worry, go for it. Nuwara Eliya, Ella will be pleasant and beaches will be Hot and humid specially in afternoon.

Yes vaccinated certificate is required to get exemption from quarantine, only RT pCR and vaccine certificate will work in that case. If only single dose or not vaccinated then according to the current rules quarantine is mandatory at your own cost (I have also checked this online, so please confirm with other sources too as I am not 100% sure about non vaccination rules)
