Oh my gosh, I’m glad you guys are safe! I would have been petrified, too. I hope your doctor gets it together 🙄 it’s hard to sit and wait for results like that, especially when they told you 24-48 hours. Great budgeting though!

Hi Stephanie, I’m glad you guys didn’t experience any damages. They should have made sure that sure you results were back, hopefully you didn’t have to make a copay, and if you did, I hope you don’t have to make another when they get the results if you have to go in again.

@@BudgetwithRose thanks rose, I did pay up front before I even saw the doc. I'm hoping he will give me a call w the ultrasound results bc I shouldn't have to go in again and pay again bc they weren't prepared.

@@budgetfor5withstephanie still raining here now. So far just some areas of flooding. We live on one of the highest points in our county but the lower elevated areas will probably get worse as the rain continues 😩.

You are right someone should have “prepped your chart” and ensured that all of the testing results were available before your appointment. Also, prayers to you and your family during the storm 🙏🏾

I haven’t had that experience with the doctor’s I have seen either. That being said our offices have MyChart which gives me access to the lab work and testing done. The doctors offices have been pretty good about reaching out too to let me know what needs to happen next.

Hey, Stephanie! Glad y'all are good. We are good in the Lowcountry of SC. I woke up and 3 and saw there was a tornado warning and to take shelter but I didn't hear it. 😂😂😂 My mom lost electricity and when I went to her there was a tree the fell on a trailer and one that fell but didn't damage it.

@@planbudgetsave the solar panels performed better this year than last year. We did turn our thermostat up so less energy would be drawing. Our ac man said the start up of our ac is drawing a lot of power. There's something we can add to our unit outside that would help w that but it's a few hundred dollars 😔

We are in the Carolinas and yes 200,000 with no power 😢 we are blessed to have a generator but so many don't. On a side note, l had to wait for 1 hr in line for gas

Prayers for the safety of you and the family. Why only 10 dollars to emergency savings and 100 to Christmas? With all of the uncertainty you faced this year, I would think you would up your emergency fund. I was just wondering.

@@kimwoodruff3793 thank you Kim, we're all doing fine. Just some yard cleanup to do. We have over 1100 in our emergency fund at this time but less than 400 in Christmas and were trying to avoid going into debt to fund Christmas for our 3 boys.
