Good stuff. Looking forward to seeing how your project will turn out. If you have the time to spare, consider growing a live fence such as kei apple or bougainvillea. It'll take much longer to grow to the height of a chainlink fence but its much cheaper in the long run and will add value to the landscaping aspect of your farm. .

I really want a live fence to be honest it would elevate the beauty of the compound, the one problem we have in ukambani is water but I'll try and plant a drought resistant fence as we look for funds to dig a bore hole

One precast post was sold to us at ksh 1500 , I’m yet to decide which chain link to go for since I’m still window shopping
